Traveling Man

Here are pictures from a couple more trips we've taken in the past month. For Ever's birthday in February we went to the Zion Mountain Resort just outside of Zion National Park. It snowed the whole time we were there and it was beautiful! Ezra loved being bundled up and taken out to play in the snow with mommy and daddy. Shortly after that trip Ever went up to Salt Lake on business and we went with him. Since Ezra was born just over 7 months ago he's been to Austin, TX, Zion Mountain Resort, Salt Lake and has made 5 trips (Soon to be 6) to California. He's a busy boy! Not the best picture of me, I'd just fallen in the snow up to my hip! It was deep!

We couldn't miss going to Temple Sqaure but we didn't stay long, it was too windy!

A New Don

We started Don Quixote last night and I'm afraid it's already gone to Ever's head. After just three chapters he was inspired to adopt a title himself so if you wouldn't mind, please address him from now on as "Don Everardo de Monclova." He travels the world with his son and heir "Ezra the Noble" and instead of a trusty steed he dashes into adventure with his overweight dog "Saint Spencer." I don't really think I play into the little fantasy very much, at least not until the hungry band of travelers come trooping home, then I'm known as "Kelsey the Cook." I wonder what ideas he'll pick up in the next three chapters? Perhaps we were better off just watching t.v. I love you babe! You really do make life an adventure and I wouldn't have it any other way!

T.V.-aholics

So lately Ever and I have been talking about how much junk there is on t.v. and how we spend a lot of time watching that junk. I mean I'm addicted to America's Next Top Model (don't ask me why, it's completely random) and Ever loves Lost and Heros and stuff like that.

We don't really agree on whose shows are worse since of course that's a matter of opinion. Naturally my opinion is the right one though! Anyway, we decided that we're going to seriously cut back on how much t.v. we watch. It's off most of the day but we really get sucked in during the evenings so that's where we're starting. Instead of sitting in front of the 'boob tube' we're going to try to read a book together as a family. Ever got to pick first (as usual) and he selected Don Quixote.

I haven't read that one yet and I was pleasantly surprised. So today Ezra and I are off to the library to pick up a copy so we can start it tonight. Anyone want to place any bets as to how long we'll be able to keep it up??? I know it's long but we want to finish the whole thing! Wish us luck!

Catch Up

It's been an eternity since I last posted and I'm sorry! Sometimes life just gets away from me and before I know it more than a month has past! There's too much to write since we've been on several trips since I last posted so I'll just put some pictures up instead and let them tell the story.
